Doctor's Day 2025

Our 30th annual Doctor's Day event at Science Central was held on
March 1, 2025, from 10a-3p.
Free admission all day was generously be sponsored by:
Indiana University Health, Lutheran Health Network, Parkview Health and the
Fort Wayne Medical Society Foundation.

In honor of our 30th year, Mayor Sharon Tucker and the city of Fort Wayne issued a proclamation declaring March 1, 2025 as the 30th Annual Doctor's Day!

With over 40 interactive booths featuring health-related and medical career information, this hands-on event allowed kids and their families to explore the world of medicine in a fun and friendly way.

The more than 1600 people in attendance had opportunities to explore an ambulance, ask questions at the "Doctor Is In" booth, see a cow eye dissection, and touch a brain specimen- just to name a few highlights!

The demonstration theater showcased informative and interesting medical and wellness presentations throughout the day.
Food bags for adults
(filled with 3 healthy meals for a family),
and Barnes and Noble gift cards for kids, were given to attendees with winning tickets at the conclusion of each demonstration.

The Fort Wayne Medical Society Alliance would like to thank our sponsors, booth participants, volunteers, Science Central staff, and all those who help make this community event possible!
